Hey i swapped back the predator 212 and it runs just fine i was wondering i have a 55 tooth sprocket and im trying to get better speed would a 48 tooth be to small at the moment it hits 39 and just tops out in like 6 seconds

also if i was going to use nitromethane i would have to buy a 1 gallon jug of 99.9% nitromethane and a 99.9% jug of methanol and do a 90%nitro and 10% methanol and i would have to get a plastic gas tank because it would rust the tank within a week (ask how i know)

the governor removal was so easy in fact i did one on a briggs and stratton 5hp (Flathead) without watching any videos because its basically the same thing

your not going to go any faster the governor is going to stop you from gaining any speed because the engine rpm is limited its not hard to to a governor removal some people say its hard its not it cost me $25.99 witch was a tap and 2 bolts and some red locktite all the other stuff is just tools...

the reason i want to up the (just slightly) compression is to make it run on nitromethane I know its dumb or whatever but from looking at other forums it has worked for some people even on a stock briggs a but I want to build a better engine if you want the link to those discussions let me know...
