Hi all. Been a while.

quick overview: 1800w MY1020, 48v, 4 12v 35 ah AGM batteries, 80t axel, 10t and #35 chain, wheels 12.5 front, 14 back

All works 3 speeds forward, 1 reverse in air.
Jerks bit forward but no real movement, reverse bit more.

Batteries 2 yrs old. Have sat in garage and outside in southern cal. Have charged periodically.

When it runs no load it seems to draw down batteries pretty quickly but does move In all directions smoothly.

Wondering if batts are bad? If not enuf amps to develop startup torque?

Any suggestions:

restore batts?
Test for amps?
????

Thanks Barry

I stopped messing with those small 48 volt motors 2 years ago. everything about them is a pain in the A$$..... Just not powerful enough, and don't survive when heated up. Sorry, my .02 cents worth

Did you move on to a higher voltage motor?
