So I got a little carried away with the Kart today and almost flipped it sliding thru a corner, well that should have been a sign to ease up till I get some turf tires cause knobbies and sliding don’t mix! Well I took a break ( no pun intended) and then after dinner went back out. I lapped the...
Can I move the driven sprocket outboard ?
Currently trying to install torque converter cause my sons tough on clutches. On the manco 415 the chain rides close to drive tire and the sprocket is too far in sitting behind the driven but I think I can put it on the outside and be closer to chain...
My sons manco 415 just can’t do to many trails being a one wheel peel and he’s getting bigger so I’ll swap all his goodies including the new predator on to this and put the Honda gx390 that’s on-this on a mini buggy I got
Speaking of market place I just found my next project kart as long as it’s there on Saturday, fingers crossed. I would go first thing tomorrow but have to go to the airport!
I say troll con! He showed a picture of hydraulic brakes in his garage next to the axle earlier in the thread? So why all the sudden no brakes? If it’s cause the axle won’t work then redneck a solution maybe carve a mount out of balsa wood and put the disc brake on the other side that’s not...
Are you using the stock carb? If so then the stiff spring coming off the governor armUnder tank closest to the shaft goes to the pre drilled location to the far left of the throttle lever closest to the tank, the other wire rod with thin spring wound around it goes to the other end of governor...

Well it’s all pretty and running and now exactly what I was afraid of happened!
As soon as I took it for a good shakedown rip im attached lol!
this thing has torque lifts the front wheels with just a blip of throttle and climbs hills in my field with ease!
Now do I do the rod, Flywheel and...
Thanks! I have spent hours scouring the google images and and can’t seem to find any thing identical. I do believe by the different welds that it has been modified, maybe two karts made into one. At least the work was done right and welds are good. I paid $50 for the kart with a blown engine so...
I am shamed to admit that I spent more on harbor freight wheels for my sons manco 415 than the wheels cost once I finally got in a better financial spot. Broken wheels and blown tires at $7.99 for the weekend didn’t seem to bad till we moved and counted all the scraps in the junk pile.
