    Welder purchase advice?

I'm looking to get a try out the Titanium 125 on Black Friday. I saw them at some of HF stores for around $179.00 last year.. They don't do any where near the most beautiful job but will hold a weld if your not trying to do to thick piece of metal. You can always use your Dremal to KIND of...

Where Might My Wiring be Wrong? Battery Does Not Charge.

Thanks, I'll do as you suggest. I was hoping someone would make a Complete Video showing not just wiring an electric start to a predator, or not just wiring a switch or just wiring lights, but would show a complete video off wiring a predator engine, electric start, a switch and light all in 1...

Where Might My Wiring be Wrong? Battery Does Not Charge.

Thanks for your reply. The rectifier has the diodes in it so it should not let it be back-feeding since hooking to 2 stator lines. I'm enclosing picture of the one I bought. Was cheap, seems the only thing I has bought yet for this Manco that is, Lol. May be defective, will have to test it I...

Where Might My Wiring be Wrong? Battery Does Not Charge.

Hi, for simplicity I'm just going to use 2 color wires here Red (+) & Green (-) except on the 5 way switch going to use also Blk/wht (starter signal wire) and yellow (ACC) and Blk (coil Grd.). I have lights on front, with switch, and also remote control start. Also using 3 way green - grounding...

ORIGINAL Mikuni vm-133 Main Jet ?

I bought a Original, no knock off, Mikuni 22vm-133 big bowl Round bore Carb. I took it apart today to replace the main Jet which I got from a Mikuni Dealer. I also ordered some replacement-trial Main jets to have and change around. He sent me the hex head Main jet, except the one I took out had...

Just so I'll Know, why the illusion of 2 sets of Teeth on Sprocket these days?

I've seen these clutches on amazon and ebay that APPEAR to have 2 sets of teeth when in reality only 1 of the sets can be used. Like one of them is half way in the clutch but the one the chain goes to if fully on the outside so it can be used. This has always puzzled me. We didn't have this kind...

Purchased a Used kart. Need advice

Don't look like your more than about 1/4" out of line. Put you enough washers behind it to make it line up, then take the washers off and cut you a spacer to put behind the clutch that equal the washers.. You have to be kind of careful with using set screws in a crankshaft or axle.. I would just...

Need Manco Dingo 285-B so-called Axle parts... ( I know, DREAM ON )

Yea, this manual Brake system is nothing but a rattle trap.. The caliper and holder that slips down into the welded on holding piece on the frame does nothing but rattle with the gap between the two.. Think I will consider a 1" round Axle and sell off these hex axle parts I have. Thanks

I know if you soak windshield wipers for 24 hrs. in Armor-All Protectant they last 5x Longer and work better. "QUESTION" ?

I have decided to at least try a Torque Converter for once. I was wondering if you soaked the Drive Belts for the Converter for 24 hrs. in Armor-All Protectant would this make them last Longer also? Anyone know or has tried this? I don't think they would slip but they may... Guess the only way...

Need Manco Dingo 285-B so-called Axle parts... ( I know, DREAM ON )

Yea, that's what I have done. Got me 2, 7/8" hex bearings (cheap ones, Lol) and knocked the Hex part out. Drilled and tapped for 2 Allen Set screws. Hope this will hold it, it should, but if not I will drill and tap for 1 more. No way is it going anywhere then... Thanks bro. Yep, sure is one...

You are correct and people really need to know about their steering especially in a Go kart running down the road at over 60+ mph. You can easily get hurt real bad or killed just by having the wrong steering set-up. The right set up makes a world of difference if your going to make any turn at...

Need Manco Dingo 285-B so-called Axle parts... ( I know, DREAM ON )

Actually had it 76mph once running slick racing tires. I use to build dirt track race car engines back in the 80's. Still wish I had the last 400 small block chevy (de-stroked) with using the 350 crank & rods with custom TRW pistons to get a 377ci. Anyway, Those were the fun days. Was using...

Not actually a real steering rack & pinion.. Just the to rods with the eye loops that you steer by. They are right up there where your peddles are at. There is a name for these steering mechanisms, I believe Ackermann and anti-Ackermann. I have the Ackermann set-up where the spindles point back...
