My buddies 420 (all stock never been opened) sat for about a year; when we went to restart it fuel was coming out of the exhaust. We boiled the carb in lemon juice for about an hour and reassembled. Same issues still persisted so I removed valve cover and checked the valve lash (was good ) so...

Got this for the low low , changed the carb (it sat for 2 years and cleaning it didn't work ) 3 rides later the throttle cable gave out. Great compression little to no rust ;so for less than $100 all in I think I got a he77 of a deal.:sifone::wai: Have no idea why the pic went sideways.

Had both idling tonight ...Both need carb rebuilds ...the faded one (with a big bore kit 199cc ) needs a drive gear /drive gear sprocket and chain . Both can use tires or a tube The rest of the problems seem to be cosmetic at worst

Opinions? Has good rims, disc brakes, 1"live axle, looks like a 2-piece sprocket w/guard, 11hp honda ( starts 1st pull cold ) Frame is not ride ready but can easily be made so (I think....I's no expert ), not really concerned with the frame I just want the pieces attached to it.

Ironed out my fuel issues ...have since bought e tube ,jets, springs(22lb) , the autolite racing plug, high flow air filter w/velocity adapter(?) 8° offset key,valve cover with pulse fitting, fabricated fuel tank mounting bracket and extended carb mounting studs , new drive tire tread, throttle...

I bought this kit http://www.nrracing.com/product-p/stage1hopup.htm. Is there anything I shouldn't install ? Or should add? Governor removal is only thing I've done so far.

All things being equal...which would provide better top end and why? Any advantages one has over the other(barring price)?
