I bought an honda gx340 engine last week and got it running. I want to build an off road go kart with it using a 40 series torque converter(because of the 1" shaft on the engine) and a forward reverse gearbox, but i can't find a gearbox with a matching driven axle. Does anyone have suggestions...

so, at home i can mill a keyway into an axle but i do not have a specific boraching machine. i wonder if it's OK(or healthy) for a machine like a drillpress or a mill to use a broaching tool to broach a keyway for a sprocket hub. answers are always appreciated.

A 50cc 2stroke engine is not going to happen, so i went searching for a different engine and came across a 150cc 4stroke 2cylinder engine. The problem now is that i can only find it on alibaba, and my question is if you guys know where i can get this engine. (except for alibaba) engine talking...

i want to build some sort of minibike with a 50cc 2stroke engine. i want to replace the standard clutch with a torque converter to realise this i would need to extend the crankshaft from the engine. -my question is if it's sensible to do this since the engine might not have that much power...
