Hi guys! Little update… Parts are coming together now. I’ve manage to get a kids electric car to use as my body so with that I now have, engine, frame metal and body! I will carry on collecting!!

Thank you. yeah I think I’m going down the route of turning it down so it’s straight… if I need a straight shaft though I’ve got a Honda lawn mower engine to knick it from if need be! 😁

Firstly I would like to say, this seems like a really friendly and polite forum so I’m well chuffed to get involved. There’s lots of useful ideas and kool builds to look through so it has been majorly useful already!! I’m from the UK so I’m not sure what availability I can get speciality parts...

Thanks, I’ve seen a couple vids on how to get around it being tapered so shouldn’t be too much of an issue. im trying to see if I can do this project with as close to zero spend as possible. I know I might have to spend a little but so far I’ve got the engine free and the tubing for the frame...

It’s looking wicked mate nice work!!! I just need to wait to come across a body to use and then I’ll start welding a frame up to fit inside… I’ve got a honda generator engine to go on it so we’ll see how it goes… ok cheers for the info I’ll have a look about see what ideas I can get

Has potential to look awesome. Look forward to the progress!! I too have been watching CC’s 4x4 and lifted kart projects as I want to build similar too… are there more of these builds out there to get ideas from?
