you guys think if i put a 100cc with a 4 speed i would put in the kart i'm building which is a offroad cart similar to that one it would be enough power?

like i said thats what i want to do but not sure if i can afford it would a large horiz. shaft engine not work almost as good?

I need to know what you guys suggest for and engine on my first kart project it will be an offroad kart used on trails and hill climbs so i need alot of power and want a decent top end 50mph?. i wanted a dirt bike engine but i don't think i can swing one i could buy an off brand 110cc brand new...
