Still bangin on it
Well, after days and days of spraying and tapping on this dang sprocket, i've decided to take the whole axle off, put it in a vice and see if I can coax it sideways with a bigger hammer!
All the set screws are removed and I'm shooting wd40 on it every time I go out to the garage. I'm gonna let a soak for a few days like this and then see what I can convince it to do using a hammer. Let ya know how it turns out.

When I take the gov off, is there anything to be aware of? Like springs that are attached to it, etc.? I was also wondering about the low oil sensor...I disconnected the wire at the quick connector located inside the little black box adjacent to the shutoff switch. Will this take care...

Hey guys, I recently removed the pulsa jet carb from my little briggs motor and I lost the mixing spiral !! Can anyone direct me to a source for this part? Or to someone that might have one for sale? Or a complete carb? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D
I looked and looked before I posted this question and I'll be danged if I didn't run across a similar discussion about 2 minutes after I posted it! I'm with you Mike...I'm gonna pull the motor off the streaker and see how much too short it actually is and then figure out something with a spacer...
