    Did I buy a Rupp??

I gave $150 for it. And really I’m just going to fix any mechanical part on it, get the engine running, and slap some new tires on it. I like the character it has, as is.

    Did I buy a Rupp??

Hello friends. I just picked this up from local classifieds. And I’m having trouble really identifying it. I think the wheels are Rupp Turbines, and the back half of the frame where the holes are by the bearing flanges look Rupp, but other parts have me guess otherwise. The engines turns over...

Home made seat mount fuel tank for my American Express

Here she is mounted. Not going to lie, did not like welding the sheet metal from the old Briggs tank, I dipped in in my ultrasonic cleaner first, then wire wheels it to bare metal, but it still did not like being welded on. So no close ups on my welds lol. But did a leak test, and it...

Manco American Express front steering question

Used an angle grinder with a thin 4-4-1/2" cut off disc. Worked great! I used a couple other various die grinders, and deburring tools to clean the surrounding areas up to weld (I have an 80 gal air compressor, and a collection of air tools). But I imagine you could use a reciprocating saw to...

Manco American Express front steering question

Took the AE out for its maiden voyage since steering repairs, and it performed nicely! Now I will be uninstalling the new GX to use for another project, and fixing my tankless GX160 with seat mounted tank to it next.

Home made seat mount fuel tank for my American Express

Nice! Yeh, I'm going to do some digging later and see if I can source a filter/petcock that would thread into 1/4" NPT. If not, then just the generic plastic jobbers of each it will be.

Home made seat mount fuel tank for my American Express

Dude, that is awesome. I would like to find the seat shaped style by I think Chilton, but those normally bring a premium. This cost me $Free.99 lol:wai:

Home made seat mount fuel tank for my American Express

Had a 4" piece of exhaust pipe lying around from my old Superduty, and a belt guard to a gas powered air compressor. So I took the liberty of fabing up a seat mounted tank for my recently acquired American Express ( check out my steering fix on a previous post). I cleaned all the dirt off the...

Manco American Express front steering question

That's a wrap! I actually ending up needing to cut and adjust both sides. Here comes an accuse now lol, but I left my speed glass at another garage, so I was left to weld everything up with a super dark non autodarkening lid...so needless to say I will not be showcasing any welds LOL:rolleyes...

Manco American Express front steering question

Thanks! I knew certain caster angles were applicable for different driving setups (relating more so to a car), but same concept to karts, I just couldn't recall how or why a kart would have either or. Meanwhile I was surfing the search bar on here, and found only 1 good pic so far of what I was...

Manco American Express front steering question

Anybody with an American Express, care to drop a picture looking down over their front suspension? I just picked up this AE frame about 2 weeks ago, and started taking a closer look at it, and it appears it had been repair at one time but the frame's "caster" is different from side to side. One...

Sorry, haven't been active on here in a while. Yes, its a folding portable work bench. I got it a few years ago for fathers day I think. Its awesome, when fully locked it can support something like a 1,000 lbs?? here is a link for one through northern tools. It must have become a hit, because...
