In the specs for the kit (posted above) it says
...the front wheels are (part #1144 5" ALUMINUM TRI-STAR WHEEL, 3" WIDE WITH 5/8" ID PRECISION BALL BEARINGS)
...so, a 5" tall x 3" wide rim
&
The rear wheels are (part #1147 5" ALUM TRI-STAR WHEEL, 3" WIDE-LIVE AXLE FOR STEPPED 1" AXLE)
...also, a 5" tall x 3" wide rim

So...not sure if the type of tire (in the pic above) will fit on your rims

Ya probably need something like this: :cheers2:

4.10/3.50 Slick Tire ($23.95 ea.)

  • Tire Size: 4.10/3.50 x 4, 4.10/3.50 x 5, or 4.10/3.50 x 6
  • Tire Tread: Smooth / Slick
  • Rim Size: 4, 5, or 6 in.
  • Ply Rating: 4 Ply
  • NHS - Non Highway Service
https://www.bmikarts.com/410350-Slick-Tire_p_19777.html

or maybe something like these (a bit wider & taller & more expensive)

11 x 4.00-5 Racing Slick Tire ($54.95 ea.)
  • Tire Size: 11-4.00 x 5
  • Ply: 4
  • Width: 4.00"
  • OD: 11.0"
https://www.bmikarts.com/11-x-400-5-Racing-Slick-Tire_p_7950.html

12 X 4.00-5 Heavy Duty Slick ($68.95 ea.)

* Also, technically the type of tire, in the pic above would be considered a Treaded/Rain Tire ;)

I’m pretty sure the wheels are 11.5 but I could be wrong.
I would like something that look a little like the image on the right.

11.5 inches is a massive wheel/rim size for a kart. That's basically automotive size (back when 12" rims were common). Did you mean tire height?

Anyway, your original post is contradictory and unclear. I think you made the mistake of showing your Azusa kart with knobby 4.10/3.50-5 tires on it and asked for "something that look a little like the image on the right". Most here thought you wanted 4.10/3.50-5 smooth tires but with "rain grooves" or ones that look like All-Season Radials at the tire store. They do make a tire that looks a little like that, they are called "sawtooth". Maybe that's what you really want? I tried to read between the lines and thought you wanted kart racing tires of the type shown below but with the grooves like in the Hoosier tire pic.

When you say "for your Azusa go kart" it basically means you are locked into the Azusa Tri-Star rims that the kart kit comes with. You could have saved money by just buying what you needed, or the kit without wheels/rims.

Buying the kit without the wheels/rims was not an option. And anyway, I wouldn’t have known how wide the wheels were anyway becuase the kit photo was very unclear. Also, I am a very inexperienced kart builder and found this forum for help with my projects.

So what are you looking for anyway? The title says slicks and that's what Functional Artist showed you. That Hoosier tire is not a slick. Help us help you.

With a bit more lookin' I found a Treaded/Rain tire (like pictured above)
...& according to the specs, it is for use with 5" rims
&
Only look to be ~1" wider, than the 3.50" wide tires, that are usually mounted on 3" wide rims ;)

Duro Racing DI4012 Scorcher Rain Tire (10 x 4.50-5) ($42.95 ea.)

Brand: Duro
Model: DI4012 Scorcher
Plys: 4 Ply
Rim Size: 5 Inch
Tire Size: 10 x 4.50-5
Tire Tread: Rain Tire

A beauty! And Azusa sells wheel spacers if you are maxed out on wheel width with the stock Tri-Star rims [there are several different Tri-Star wheel widths]. Here's just one example:
