Default Muffler Silencer for my briggs and stratton 5hp engine

Hi
I have a briggs and stratton 5hp horizontal shaft engine. It is kinda loud and i dont like loud noises. I would like to get a better muffler. I am not really going for power. I just built the kart for fun play. So i would like a muffler that will make my engine much more quite. I dont wont to spend more than $50. I am really going cheap. Thanks

Go to your local hardware or lawn mower store and they should have something. What do you have on there now?

Go to the Briggs site and you can download the parts list, enter the model # off your engine.
Briggs sells a variety of mufflers, they have a muffler they call "Super Lo-Tone", p/n 392101 (that's for 130200 series motors), Check the parts list for your engine to see what they have.
