Default briggs flathead problem...

hey guys, i got a briggs flathead im using on my kart and it runs pretty well, I want to tear it down and clean everything, but the problem i have right now is that, whenever i am running it, it wants to shut off everytime i make a turn, it doesnt shut off imediately, it jus tkinda sputters about. then just quits. any ideas?

pulll the carburator and check you pickup tubes sounds gas is sloshing away from em or mite be a killswitch wire movin around bumpin something and grounding out but i bet its the carb

as far as cleaning it it wouldnt hurt to rebuild it and replace the gaskets if thats wat your talkin bout it can never hurt em

disconnect it

well I just did a carb rebuild kit, but I will check everything, and fowler, how do i disconnect the low oil sensor?

there is a wire going into the sump almost at the bottom pull the plug ot and tape each end off
try and start the engine if it wont u got the wrong wire so by that measure aviod cutting anything

it had too much oil.... runs fine now
