Default Frame from Craigslist

i am about to buy a go kart frame from craigslist and i dont know if its a scam or not

Ask them for more pictures.. ask them for there address bring a knife and then go and take a look at the item (u can leave out the knife but if your paranoid like me bring it lol) and then look at item decide if you want it hand over cash put item in truck.

Then you would have to get him to take pictures with his name phone number or email on a poster in the picture and then talk to him over email or phone about shipin and what not

Besides if this dude is a scam or not, something else to consider is shipping a kart can be really expensive. (like meyby $150 to $300) How many miles would you be shipping it?

I've heard the cheapest way is disassembling the kart as necessary to fit into a large bicycle box. Evidently Greyhound bus depots will ship these big flat heavy boxes at a fairly reasonable price compaired to the other alternatives.

Here's an Idea. Ask the seller if he'd let you arrange for a cargo shipping company to come over and pick the kart up, and pay him at that time. His reply to this question would kinda give you an idea if he was a total scam or not. I'd imagine you actually could arrange a pickup/shipping scenario like this with some shipping companies. It'd be cool if they were armed with ads pics and a full description too.

the seller said the shipping for the frame would be 40 to 50 dollars

Always take a knife or knifes lol. one in your boot another on in your wallet, mabye one in your hat...
