Some pictures of it stock, the blaster front end and during build and finished.

It was powered my a powermax 16hp but its out and going either 252 jlo, 297 jlo, 300sachs or 340 twin rupp.

Few more pictures.

You can see the steering design I came up with. The problem was I didnt have the cash for a steering rack and pinion. With my feet in between the a arms it spread them out quite a bit. It took a while to figure out but was able to get it with near zero bump steer. I know it has been copied by other builders.

I built this with a main goals of being a good ride/fast and still smaller design. Its pretty short.

Thanks!!!
I would assume 30mph ish. The gearing was left basically stock as it was with the 8hp. Just got there quicker.

I have video too, let me try to post some.

Very nice! I really like the look of it, and the design on the front end. Good work.

Looks like fun, I think Ive seen your video before. I like the crossover steering setup. I would suggest maybe to beef up the tubing a bit for the steering components, especially if you are beefing up the motor soon. Lets see some suspension working video when you get sometime. Good job

Thanks!
What tubing are you talking about? tie rods? or frame?

I havent had any problems with it other then when I hit something. The things I wanted to do but havent yet is front bumper to protect the steering. I also wanted to do something different with the steering linkage pivot arm. Putting Bearing/bushings something like that in there.

I belive he means the rods from tie rod end to tie rod end it looks a little thin.

ok, thanks,
The ones connected to the spindles are stock blaster ones cut and welded. The smaller/short ones are solid steel, not tubing. I havent had an problems at all with them yet and I dont really baby it either, lol.

Oh crap busted, lol.

Newrider3, I think it was you, others to I think. I dont mind. Actually pleased that other like it as well as I did.

As far as the cage goes, probably never. Birddog1148 knows my project list isnt small. Next for the buggy is a sled engine. Probably not to next year.
