yes i live in the uk, and i am asking for a friend. he is new to this stuff, and i dont know mutch about bike engines ect. he is wandering if it is good value 4 money, and if the engine is good. he says it is for use in a field. also is the kph of 95 realistic?

if this is not that good, any links for a good new dirt bike under £400

so would this be suitable for a teenager to play around in an acre field? and would the engine and other parts last? and be powerfull enough?

when you say you get what you pay for is this really cheap?

yes it is REALLY cheap, and im mean its not worth it at all, you will have problems and i can promise you it wont handle the way a real bike will. I have never seen a bike that cheap, unless its old, or has a major problem. I wouldnt pay more than $50 for that if it was brand new. A good bike of that same size is over $4k new.

the engine is good it says it is a lifan. my brother had a 90 cc lifan pit bike that he bought for $750.00, and it was good quality. honda parts fit on lifans. price doesn't look out of line in my opinion.

You see lifan bikes/quads everywhere.

Whilst it's not going to be half as good as a full size bike, it will do what it says on the tin.

thanks

well if your budget is 500 (400 euros is around $500 i think), then just buy a TAV ($150), a clone ($125), some steel, tires and other misc parts and there you go, a minibike that could easily do 25 and handle off road. the engine and TAV is your main cost ($275) then after that you have $200 left in your budget to make a frame (more than enough). Or you could just look for a used trail bike, like an XR100 or dr100 ( i bought a dr100 for $50 that ran fine, a little slow but overall a fun bike).

have you ever actually had experience with this motorcycle or any other chinese motorcycle? Honda has been using "straight out engines" since the 70's. while they may not be perfect the chinese bikes aren't complete crap.
now to address the actual question, I would recomend that instead of trying to build a minibike without suspension for 500 buy a used dirt bike made by one of the big 4 brands (honda, kawasaki, suzuki, yamaha) I'm sure you can find something in your price range

I have had experience with friends who have had nothing but bad luck, maybe its just me but i dont trust chinese crap. and no im not talking about honda 6.5 clones, if you like those thats cool. I know honda has been using straight out engines for a while IN SOME OF THIER BIKES and i know there fine, its just the chinese quality control isnt the best, and for $500 you could get a decent used dirt bike that is MUCH better.
