Default Clutch or torque converter?

so i have a clutch with 10 teeth on my 5.5 hp go kart i was wondering if i get a 10 tooth torque converter will i lose any speed?

i dont think you will lose speed ... in fact you migh have an improvement in speed...

Depending on the type of TC most have a overdrive ratio meaning you will actually gain torque & top end.

you can easily change gearing if your not happy with the top speed. but you wont have problems with smoking the tc because of the lower gearing in the tc at slow speeds. unlike the clutch
