Default 2-Stroke Off-road Jeep

How's it going everyone

This is my Go-Kart

I'm new to this forum and new to welding/building go karts. Ever since I got back from deployment this past February, my buddy and I have been building a Jeep go kart. The idea started out as we were talking on the phone, me being in the middle east and him back in the states, about his '89 Toyota Supra and all the problems he was having with it. We were on craigslist looking for a different project car for him and we ended up in the motorcycle section. I remember us talking about using a motorcycle engine on a go kart frame. So we started looking at go karts, which led us to find a fiberglass shell for $80. One thing led to another, and, well I made a video documentary on YouTube that I'll link videos from. Enjoy!

Location filled lol. The kart itself won't be ready to ride for some time, at least until I get back from this deployment. Still needs brake/throttle pedals, rollcage, kill switch, guages, dash, body filler, body panels, gas tank mount, lights, and finally paint. I forgot to mention that were painting it like this Jeep from Jurassic Park:

and no problem!
