Default Build Off Entry- Homemade Mini 4 Wheeler from Scratch

Hey guys, my plan is to build a full suspension 4 wheeler designed for pure torque and sit very high off the ground for rock clearance. The engine i ordered...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-6-5-hp-e...ht_1028wt_1348

Is on its way and should be here in the next few days. When i say from scratch i mean from SCRATCH! there is no donor vehicles and all the parts will be ordered from BMI so im sorry if i dont finish in time.

The wheels will be 22" i think and will be ordering my shocks off Ebay. I have just started the frame and will be doing everything without drawings or measurement so i hope everything works out

anyways here are some pics off my frame, there are no parts because i have not ordered them yet

oh and my new drill press i got for christmas!

BOTH! Seriously! Surely you can adapt a hydro system off an old motorcycle for cheap...

what reverse box are you using? You could possibly make one (I plan to at some point).

Using motorcycle brakes is pretty easy, choose a donor vehicle and search for it on ebay. i.e. cbr600rr rear caliper, cbr600rr rear master, etc.

Do those hubs work with those rims? I was thinking about ordering them, but the wheels have a 110mm bolt pattern, and the hubs have a 4 inch pattern. According to Google, 110mm = 4.3 inches. You'll have to let me know if they fit.

Scratch that idea then. I think I can get them locally cheaper than that.

hey guys sorry for the lack of updates. The order i placed with BMI had gotten lost in the mail and the new packages are suppose to arrive today so if it ends up coming i might put up a video of opening the parts!! Single handedly one of the best parts of a build is opening up packages of parts

oh and the motor was delivered about a week ago and just finished doing an inspection on every part in the crankcase because i ordered off of ebay you never know what someone might send you! I had a friend that ordered a duromax off ebay and the camshaft and rods were taken out and sold by the seller!!!

Default good generic pills

Why I must buy expensive cialis pills while I can get generics on line with delivery to my place and for considerably lower price. I am ready to accept the situation that customer support sometimes can be dull when I want to trace my order. clomid tabs

small update...

just getting the parts laid out and taking some measurements. Let me tell you that the pictures dont do it justice and it is a beast!! Definitely the meanest thing iv'e ever built!!!

Still need to find a decent set of hydraulic brakes, and a Forward / Reverse gearbox. I am still waiting on another box with rear hubs and sprocket w/hub and to tell you the truth BMI karts did not impress me with there shipping!

You dont have to read this unless you order parts from BMI!!

(a little rant) on one of the above posts i had ordered different wheels, the ones that were on sale for 50 bucks, and waited about a week for my parts. A week passes and no boxes. I email BMI and they tell me that my order was cancelled because they ran out of the wheels and they only had one left in stock (which makes me wonder why they dont have quantities next to there items especially the ones for sale). But what makes me really mad is that they didnt even send me an email to tell me my order was cancelled!! Having wasted a week of my time i ordered parts again this time purchasing 100 dollar wheels and some more parts. You guessed it, it got lost in shipping. another week later i received my boxes and not to my surprise, they sent me the wrong sized brake hub!!! on top of all that my 4th box is lost again and they did not send some of the small parts like wire stops, bolts for brake hub, and a few bolts for axle bearings. Im starting to lose faith in BMI but there are no other good alternatives!! Plus shipping cost is crazy.

Im looking in to ordering parts from BMI this week or next. I agree that the shipping costs are through the roof..I mean, 2 20" $25 wheels cost $70 to ship?? cant you breakem down for smaller shipping? REALLY??

Anyways, good luck on your project and your shipping hassles!
