Find someone who has the same year Charger(I think 68 is the same cept the tail light, get the dimensions. Measure everything. I would assume it wouldnt be full scale, you would need to figure out the scale you want.

Good luck with it!

You might be better to re-skin a compact car.
Chevy engine? That's just WRONG!

Although, with a chevy engine it might not go too well!

Does the Dikes Charger have a Hemi or 440? Would be real cool to make a fake engine modeled after the real thing.

It will not work. Not with a stinking chivy engine anyways!

You could probably find a Mopar forum an find someone who has a 69, ask them for the dimensions.

Thought this sounded familiar. Threads merged. Please- if you already have a thread on a specific topic, do not start another identical thread. Thank you.

what you want to do does not really sound like a go-kart. sound like you want a full sized car. i doubt it will be cheap to make. it would almost be cheaper to buy a real charger. i saw a full sized charger that was in great shape for less than $6000 but it would definitively needed some TLC but if i had the money to buy it i would have. i would love to have a big block. i have almost thought about dropping a 440 in my daily driver since my 318 is only getting on average 10mpg. just need to find the right one.

There car dident have 1 engine, they had airplanes searching for 69 chargers, then they would pull them over and try to buy there car. The slapped a coat of paint on it and welded the doors shut. They dident what motor it had.

Do what top gear did and paint a 70 something dart...
