Default 31cc trike

i found a 31cc RYOBE weedeater not vary big but if i can get it at 1000rpm with me on it the speed calculatar sais that is will go 9mph

A weedeater revs at over 5k, makes 1 hp if your lucky.

I once got a bicycle to do 15 mph with the Ryobe using a rather unorthodox (my middle name) drive system. Someday I'll re-assemble it and post some pics.

i belive it is a 1-2 gear ratio

For a weedeater motor to work at any reasonable acceleration you will probably need about 20:1 ratio, and this wont give very good top speed.

im not realy looking for anything higher than 10mph at the most

its just sitting in my garoge and collecting dust
and the trike is like a 2 year olds trike

i'll try to get some pics up
