You should make a gas powered cardboard box.

Actually, that'd make a pretty funny YouTube video, wouldn't it?

Just put a huge box over your kart, cut a small hole to see, and there you have it

OH!!! We have the perfect boxes to do that with at work! They're big boxes that some Xerox 6350 color laser printers come in and they're huge!

Do it. I shall indeed die laughing if you do. You automatically become the greatest person on earth if you do it.

Here's an update on Older Yellower.... Put new tires on, new bearings on the front wheels, yanked the Tecumseh PowerSport motor (pretty messed up) and got rid of the annoying foam bits. I'm test fitting it for my Tecumseh 3hp, and I'm going to take it to a carwash and clean it up and prep it for painting. It's still going to be yellow with the black engine, but with white rims.

I know everyone was hoping it wouldn't stay yellow!....

my experience with trying to paint rims is that old tires will be stuck on those rims... UGH! that was such a b*tch to do!

The rims had to come apart anyway, because the tires were shot, plus, I wanted to get rid of the Bling-Bling gold rims on the front! When my grandson and I took it to the carwash, we found out yellow wasn't the original color- so now I'm going to paint the frame Lime Green and the rims red. I'm leaving the motor black. Just sandblasted the rims and gave them their first coat. I'm going to try and bake them in the oven at 200f for 30 minutes... I've heard this makes the paint a lot tougher.

OK, Jerry, before you ask about what's going on and why this thread says: "Je......#2" I'll answer the question for you.

We're trying out something new where threads that break the 3 page barrier get locked and the rest of the posts get moved to a new thread, in this case, with the same name but with a #2 at the end. We're trying this out because trying to find a post that you saw and wanted to go back to gets kinda hectic when you have multiple pages that you have to dig through.

With the split, the goal is to hopefully help people remember where they saw a particular post without having to dig through pages and pages of posts. I have done the same with my thread, as it was already going on 5 pages.

If you guys have any inputs, ideas, or opinions about this method of handling lengthy threads, feel free to post them on the announcements forum.

Brief update on Older Yellower.... AKA "Tree Frog". Couldn't find the Lime Green that I wanted, but this funky metallic green looked cool. Now, I have to put a decent carb on the motor, and hook the throttle back up (needs a longer cable).
