Default Stock predator on nitro

https://youtu.be/nZMtkaqxpPs
Iím building a new motor for my daughters kart and was setting up the carburetor for 15% nitro since thatís what I run in mine and itís easier not to have to carry three fuel jugs to the track.
It impressed me so much on the stock motor that I made a video about it.

Nitro exhaust is rank, it’s a very chemical smell that burns your eyes and makes it difficult to breathe. It makes nitric acid and that stuff is harsh.

What about methanol?
I hope it doesn't make people drunk.

Well, drinking methanol makes people drunk and blind.

That's why you pitch the first quart or so. Sorry I'm getting off topic.

Lol, it donít make you drunk, and itís much easier to breathe around than nitro. If you ever get the chance to go to a top fuel race , do it, and be sure to be close to the cars when they warm up in the pits. Itís an incredible experience that youíll never forget.

I know a little something about that too. I can actually be seen on moonshiners season one if you know where to look.

I was no big deal, I was in the background in a few scenes. Everyone knows that I’d never do anything illegal, lol.

Without a doubt. Myself as well.

It's good to know how to make beer, and purify water though. Just in case the Millennials take over. Lol.

I was trying to wrangle a sealed drum of nitro that wouldn't cost me anything but the 300mi drive to pick it up. Unfortunately the ownership is contested and it's probably not going to happen. It's also 15 years old. Long story. I did score a 5gal pail of VP M1 though, so not a total strikeout.

In some modern top fuel footage the exhaust can sometimes be seen as a hazy orange-brown. That's at least partly nitrogen dioxide which combines with moisture in the air to create....nitric acid.

The exhaust can/will still burn your eyes and respiratory. Combustion of methanol also produces some formaldehyde which is nasty in its own right.
