Default Help

Good day!
Just wondering if anyone has an idea what this motor is? It is a 1966 Gould Geep V2 4 stroke air cooled. The speedometer is Yamaha but after searching led me nowhere. I have been trying to locate maintenance parts but no one can help me out without a make/model. Any information, advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

By looking up "goulds v twin" it comes up with pumps. As in, well pumps.
It doesn't really look like an engine to me, but it kinda vaguely resembles a rotary engine.
More pics from different angles would help. What is it on? Golf cart?
Look for any and all manufacturer labels, take pictures of them, and post 'em up.
P.S - A lot of newbies post sideways pics, so my neck thanks you!

Appreciate you taking a look. Somewhat frustrating finding parts for this thing.....but am learning lots. I cant find an oil filter for it as it doesn't have any part number on it and is cartridge style.

Thank you.

Here's Gould mfg.'s webpage for the "Safari Jeep":http://www.gouldmanufacturing.com/safarijeepride.html
It says it's powered by a Honda GX160, but that's obviously not the case here.
Might be time to swap another engine in there and go FAST!!

Go Fast.....this thing does 50 mph, I disconnected the solenoid for 3 and 4 gear as I have the tendency to hurt myself too often with speed. Part throttle in 2 is plenty fast for this
old guy!
