Haha i got full pressure lubed too. and yeah firefox blocks vids sometimes all that comes up is a link.

That's just a stock engine.... seen these with 70+ hp

yea there are lots of parts for our engines, i saw a guy on heymow making 50hp of his kohler which was 27hp stock.

Dude they make more sometimes man you can get like 70 hp out of these things if you do it right.

yea i wonder if one of us did a turbo setup with a kp31 like lemgacool has on is honda lol i think we'd need a blow off valve :p

i want to run 2 carbs on the twin, it probably wouldnt matter, but i think it would be cool

they run good with dual carbs just make 2 eaqual length intake manifolds for it. about 4 inches long each.

well i took the base plate off the kohler and thought of hunting down the last owner . one connecting rod was totally crushed into little pieces and other was pretty bent, camshaft was broken in half, pistons were chipped, exhaust valve was chipped and a small piece on the very bottom of the cylinder wall was chipped. i'm see if i can still use the block since my old shop teacher lives near by to get his opinion on the cylinders (piston rings get no where near the damaged are but just to be safe)

So if that doesnt work out i'll take a trip to the junk yard and get a 18hp Kohler opposed.
