Default Upgraded Ct200u flooding

So i now have a "customer" that has a coleman ct200u. i am installing a torque converter and fixing the engine flooding. its got an upgraded jet i believe and stock muffler and the governor is active. Am i right or wrong about why the engine floods and if so or not how do i fix it

I could almost bet money that the float is sticking. Rebuild the carb.

Thats the plan but he said it rides and runs good so i need to try that. i have untill 3 so share any ideas

If someone is paying you to fix something, you should at least have a basic understanding of how this stuff works. Flooding is a very broad term, is it running rich and stalling at idle, poor WOT performance, flooding overnight?

I would tear down carburetor, inspect for modifications, debri, damage etc. Check pop-off pressure of needle valve, floats dont stick half as often as needle valves fail.

I have an understanding its just i am not sure of it yet he just said the engine was flooding i think it is the needle valve personally i need to tear my coleman and baja bikes carbs down anyway because gas pours out they need rebuilt
