Think Predator 212 carb might be a nice upgrade for this Tec???

Hi Bob,
It looks like I have the right core for you. I have a few unground factory blanks from Tecumseh. Mine measures 3.805" long (the ends could be shortened if necessary) and the bearing journals measure .493". I would need to check the centerlines on your plastic cam since my blank has unground lobes. Let me know if you still want to proceed.

Fantastic! I am doing a similar outsourcing for my Briggs Intek which is plagued by the dreaded plastic camshaft syndrome. Best wishes for a positive outcome!

Well trying to keep busy without spending money.

I cannot afford the new camshaft for this yet.

I did port the intake manifold.

There were some lips and ridges and I took care of it.

When I find the plastic cam, I will reassemble with no governor and the plastic cam and call it done for a while.

Pics to come when I get the better camera.
