how would i find that out?

Look at the numbers on a little plate attached to the engine. Look for the 'CODE' number. This will tell you what year it is etc. Usually the first two numbers is the year. Look at the numbers until you find 2 that make sense. It looks like about a 87 to 90. Maybe an 1986. Also, my friend just picked up a Honda 6.5 and it is a GX or a GC160. Yours should be the equivelent. I have a manual for the GC160 because I have one on my pressure sprayer. GOD!!!!!! I can't wait till the pressure sprayer breaks Scott
