Default Go Kart Axle

Anyone know how to remove a rear axle that is inside the frame? It has the sprocket next to the left wheel, and it all spins when I turn one wheel. Should I hammer it out or is there something I should do?

The first thing you should do is post some pics so we can see what you’re dealing with and can offer advice.

Can you flip the frame and show the whole axle assembly?
Need to see a bit more.

Oh you have one of those Baja karts with the monoshock suspension and the hanging engine. Looks to be a Baja Dune(DN65) kart to me.

Not sure if this helps but a build diagram/manual for your kart can be found here:

Thank you SO much for helping me identify my go kart. I've been trying to find out what cart it was to find manuals and parts but I'd come to dead ends.
