Default brake hose problem

one of my brake hoses is too small so i bought another but i have no idea how to join the two looking for some insight.

You shouldn't really splice the two hoses together if you can avoid it. Use continuous lengths as much as possible.

And yes, pictures are kind of important since there are hundreds of different types of brake line connections.
