Hi Nick, I think I have one of those in the garage, though it may have been used in my buddies project. I`ll take a look now

The one I have is for a 3.5hp, not a 5hp. Sorry Nick

If MLToys set up isn't up to par, I have the same one in great shape, rust and dent free tank. Still has factory breather and all.....
I'm not sure what they are worth, so you just pm me an offer. You know I ain't greedy.....

The carb that 2SlickNik posted, is slide choke carb with a swirl plate, commonly found on early B&S 3/5 hp engines. The other carb shown in the pictures is from later model engines and is not the same style. Plus it uses a different gas tank, such in the carb mounting area. I have several of those slide choke carbs, I will look and see if I have any tanks.

ohhh...
Probably slide carb due to the fact that it came off a chipper/shredder and had a 7/8" shaft size.

If the flange fit properly, could you not use any other carb and tank combo?

As long as it bolts up to it.... There was/is 4 carb styles like that, IIRC.... I have the manual choke version too, with swirlthingamabob......

Heres more, the tank actually has gas in it still. The mounting end of carb is angled and thats the best i could hold ruler and snap pic at the same time.

Does your block have three holes for carb mounting? If so, then that carb might work.

I thank you, ML toys. That will not work. That is the larger flange carb that attaches to the block with 3 holes. I have that block too, but want to get it professionally bored( since my honing was a little sloppy).

The block I want it for has the smaller flange.
