That shopping cart body is tiny. I have my doubts whether it would fit. Do you know what the dimensions of the thing are?

That’s exactly how most of my bad ideas start “ I could just “ always ends up being time consuming and expensive, lol

I'd let it pass...
if it's a stolen shopping trolley you (unlikely will, but still) can get in trouble buying it.
And it's terribly tall and comparatively short which makes the profile look awkward imho
especially if your intention is to mount it to a go kart.

I'd rather find a beat up go kart body and fix that instead..
can't be more expensive than 50 bucks either.
(given that the last decent one I saw was sold on ebay for less than 100)

And while you can make a short chassis that fits the overall dimensions.
And that thing really looks funny (for a few seconds)
it's awkward proportions get old within days IYAM...

completely your choice, but I think you will eventually regret buying it
and not finding something like the toddler bed carbody or a powerwheels or
-which I think likely gives you the best handling kart- a go kart body instead.

hmm.. different subjective understanding of "awesome" I guess
That is a tiny bit small for a Dingo btw,
going by the size of the 5" Manco rims in comparision.
looks even smaller than an AmEx on the pic really.

Ah well, your choice.
