Default Predator 420 crankshaft questions

Hi all, new here. My brother and I decided to start building a go kart from scratch. We have the base frame just about complete. While my brother is doing all of the welding for the frame I am working on the engine we will be using. I was fortunate to stumble upon a lot of returned generators with the predator 420 engines. They run beautifully and they have electric start so I am hoping this can be done. Now, the crankshafts for the generators are tapered which will not work for a clutch or torque converter which means it needs to be a straight keyed crank. I am proficient in car engine rebuilding so I have the tools and am capable of tearing it apart and swapping the crank. My question is whether or not a crankshaft for a non-tapered engine will swap into this on and if so what will be needed outside of the crank and bearings. I figure this may be a good time to do a stroker kit since ill have it torn down but I want to verify that the parts are interchangeable prior to purchasing. Any help is appreciated.

From what I am aware of, the Honda GX340’s, 390’s, Predator 420’s, and 10 bolt sidecover Vegas cart 460s all have the same bearing size.

The crank differences are in stroke only. EG 64mm, 69mm, 70mm.

If you are going to stroke the engine, I’d consider putting in a billet rod and accounting for piston pop up.
