Josh, Kerosene works.

I have in past used methylated spirits to clean fuel tanks, carbs (victa g4). I usually rinse and cover carb parts in a shallow dish then allow the metho to evaporate in the sun.

Yeah methylated spirits is what I meant by metho, sorry.

Reason I'm not buying a can of carby cleaner, as it would be a similar cost to buy a new carby, lol.

with most 2 strokes, you could just rev the c!@P out of it a couple of times shoulld clear it out

Omg I was at the machine shop today and I saw our freind dynoing a pure bred racing 440 with just a JAWS racing can and no silencer on only one cylinder and it sounded just amazing. The top RPM I saw was 10.5 K RPM. It sounded just ear splitting amazing and on only one cyclinder it made over 32 ft lbs of torque. Compare that to a GX200!. I gotta get a video of this thing on the dyno man!
