Default ft lbs of torque from CVT

Does anyone know how to calculate ft lbs of torque from a CVT? Trying to figure out if I can use a specific axle rated at 30 ft lbs.

thanks in advance.

Depends entirely on the CVT, and the engine you have it hooked to.

And there's no exact number. Engines have a torque curve, and cvts change ratio depending on speed and load.

sure..
max torque is input torque times lowest CVT ratio minus specifc loss (in the realms of 25%)

BUT I'm quite certain the axle bending torque is 30ft lbs..
rotational torque willl be WAAAAY higher
(well unless the axle is made of plastic or just 1/4" steel that is)

I agree, Iíd send it. It should be fine, and if it isnít then you needed a new axle anyway.
