If the flywheel isnt designed to have one in the first place... then no..

There are e-start kits out there...
I think they might be designed for Honda GX200s, but they should be cross compatible with Predator 212s.

Yea I was kinda trying to build a predator for a motorcycle frame i want to be able to have lights and enough power to feel. Electric start was just a luxury i wanted to have, im just thinkin if im building for more power I should get a billet.

If you are using a motorcycle frame... you might want to use a big block, as they will have more power to move the machine effectivly... also like on a 420 type engine you ll have enough power left to run a small alternator..... they do this on golf karts... sometimes its a starter/generator...

I would go buy a 420 or a bigger vtwin but im just trying to use the engine and frame i had laying around for supplies, but I do see what your saying about the restriction of power of an alternator. I just wanted to figure out a way for lights to be hooked up without always charging the battery.

You want to run a motorcycle frame with an industrial motor (420cc) that you can buy at a hardware store (HF)? I guess you like going slow...
However, I think you're on to something by mentioning the V-twin as that is the marginal-most-bestest engine at HF for such an endeavor. Nothing else there will do. Luckily someone has already paved the way for you (those YT nitwits CarsandCameras. EGAD I loathe that narcissistic selfie-stick goober with the beard. Poor fella has obvious low self esteem ![]() I'm not going to link the video here, sadly. They need less and less attention, not more.
