i picked up a free go kart that came with a kohler 440, it was frozen but i worked it loose and it shows over 120 compression for each cylinder. my question is how do i mount this to the kart? it has a mounting plate but i don't know where to put the motor mounts, do i put them between the motor and mounting plate? or do i bolt the mounting plate to the motor and put the motor mounts between mounting plate and kart?
thanks dave gowen mi |

i just watched a video that show not using any motor mounts, he just welded mounting plate to the frame, all this stuff is new to me, thanks for being patient with my dumb questions. also here is a pic of my new free go kart, is this a common brand or home made? thanks again

Looks built from an Azusa kit. AKA homemade.

Can't get any cheaper than free!
Until you pay for parts...
