Default Where could I possibly get a diff?

The title says it all, where can I get a differential axle? I don't NEED it, but I used to see them on the website of Northern Tool, and now I can't find any. This is just an idea for a possible racing kart I may build someday. I can't think of any way to convert my current project from single wheel drive to diff without doing a lot of cutting and welding and cutting and welding.

the ~100 buck northern tool diff
is (was?) a peerless 100 (or clone maybe?)

if you google "peerless 100 differential"
you'll certainly find plenty such (even cheap used on CL or ebay.. I paid 30 bucks for example)

Last I knew, Northern Tool had discontinued it. I had it booked marked for the longest time and it's no longer listed. It was $89.99 then jumped up to $149.99.

I seem to recall seeing inexpensive peerless clones on eBay along with the clone torque converter and FNR boxes. Maybe the supply has dried up.

Yeah, Northern Tool has discontinued their diff. I don't recall seeing the price at $149.99, though!

It was several months ago after they had it on sale, they jumped the price way up. Maybe not to $149.99 but it was up there. Original price was $119.99.
