We are haunted by setbacks. The organizers reported that race 29.09 could not be held. Because there is no police cover, the route passes in the city, so you need a cordon. Local police reported that the overlap can not provide, only possible for the next week. I'm worried that we have autumn and the weather is very unstable, there are cold days and rains. I hope everything will turn out, and we will pass this last race of the season, and then we will prepare for the winter season.

We have severe winters, lots of snow and cold for -30, but we are adapted, even in winter we hold competitions on the ice of the lake or on the prepared track.

Racing on frozen lakes sounds fun. Don't have much of that in Florida. The lowest that I have ever seen is 27 Fahrenheit or -1 Celsius with some frost and occasional ice.

It is a pity, but the last race of the season will not take place, the bureaucracy with the documents and the city hall. But we do not lose hope for the winter, it is ahead and long, while I search for winter wheels, another engine will be assembled.

Sorry to hear that!

keep us posted how and when you proceed.

But don't you have a "testtrack" like a huge closed parking lot, just to get a few test runs?

Now I will write a lot of text, I hope the translator will become the most understandable translation.

I will be happy to share with you information about my updates and repairs.

In Russia it is very difficult to find something similar, the test tracks are in large commercial workshops, which have a lot of sponsorship. Similarly, with the autodrome for automotive competitions, there are few of them, mainly in the central part of Russia.

We do not have a commercial workshop, we are funded from the city budget, and there is very little here. There was a small area there, but there were drops of asphalt and pits on it, it is impossible to fully check the potential in summer, in winter, when everything is good in the snow. And now this site has also been damaged by construction equipment that operates next door.

In summer, we can take karting to a small platform where karting is carried out, but this should be done in the morning from 9 to 11, because until 9 years the law of silence cannot be made noise, and at 11 there is a rental, But I work in my main job from 8 to 17 o'clock, and I can not often take time off.

Here is the video in April of this year, on our old site you can see that it is not smooth. and little.

Today I found a few disassembled motors, I will make a decontamination. Next I plan to do customization and tuning, but we do not have tuning parts, so we will use what we have, maybe we can make something ourselves.

Awesome.

Finding tuning parts locally is certainly non trivial around here as well;
but luckily the internet has everything one could ever need
and with a bit of patience shipping isn't a problem either.
I bet that holds true for you as well

For us, although it is expensive, we do not have government funding, and delivery sometimes costs the same as spare parts. Unfortunately, my salary is very small. But we will strive for this and look for sponsors.

Some photos from the workshop, as well as classes with children. There are both new and old photos.

Closed the season, a little swept the workshop, cleared the track, but it is with holes and bad asphalt with dirt. Unfortunately, the memory on the phone is over, so the video is short.

According to my feelings, karting began to accelerate faster and sharply react to the gas. But the dirty and cool track keeps the tires no warm. So just next season.

During the ride I lost the fuel cap, I was probably driving very fast

Made some improvements for the new engine, milling the head - 1.1mm, expanded the channels, and facilitated the connecting rod and improved its lubrication, drilled the oil inlet channel in the lower part of the sprinkler.
