Default gearing shifter kart

Don't really need advise just want to see (theoretically) since everyone seems to think the go kart calculator is god or think they know there ratios so well what my kart should do its a cb200 engine with a 5 speed stock was 17 hp but im sure a squeezed another one or two in there but when on bike with a 15 and 35 tooth sprocket it did 88 mph 11 more than it is rated for.but that was on 24 inch tires.new sprocket sizes are 15 and 30 on 22 inch tires don't know weight for sure but I can bet it close to or maybe over 400 pounds not with me in it theoretically how fast would my kart go ( I say 90) which is why I will be changing ratio to 15 and 38 which is a 2.5333:1 ratio instead of the 2:1

Someone has some personal issues they need to take care of....
Let me break this down for you. The speed of a kart depends on more than what the calculator uses. Such as aerodynamics, altitude, temp, and other variants.
Don't get mad because your kart is fast and the calc didn't have 100% accuracy.
Before you go off on everyone on the forum think about the variants that it doesn't use. I think it being close is good enough. It wasn't designed to have 100% accuracy but more to give an idea of aprox speed.

Default gearing shifter kart

That'd because you're using racing engines, parts, gearboxes and gear reductions.

You say all this, and all that, but yet you offer absolutely nothing that can even be considered close to being proof. All we have is your word, and on the Internet that's about useless.

Grab a video camera and do a walk through, show us the sprockets, the tire size, and then show us this 2.9:1 gear rstio. Show us this 52mph you hit, and show us you taking off like a rocket.

Cause all I'm seeing right now are delusions of grandeur, with absolutely nothing to back it up.

Again today, Someone needs a snickers! Superballs your not yourself when your hungry. Dude you been cool, What the .... Don't insult everbody. No this is NOT a forum about geared, shifter race karts. It is mostly yard karts with Briggs and Clones.5:1 and 6:1 ratios are usually good.
And This is B.S.
"No gearbox no reduction 17 on 50 on 12 inch tires 2.9:1 ratio and neither were racing engines they just was not stock haha as in the governer was removed and had 18 lb springs and .02 bigger jets"
Pics or it did not happen.

You'll forgive me for saying so, but I find your attitude rather lousy. If you truly do feel that way, you're quite welcome to find another place to play. There are a lot of good, friendly, helpful people on this forum, who don't need that negativity.

As for calculations, try not to be too cocky. Sure bet that my calculations are no less accurate than yours- and that statement was very generous on my part.

So- one more time for the people in the cheap seats: I would request that you readjust your attitude, or move along.

Ummmmm......yeah....I would say so....when he thinks putting that on a heavier vehicle with smaller tires is going to make it go faster ....I'd say he might just be a little bit confused as to who may be "clueless" .....

Edit: Not to mention a higher gear ratio?????

CB200 Redline: 9000 rpm
CB200 Internal Reduction: 3.7:1
CB200 5th Gear Ratio: 0.960 to 1
Your Final Drive Ratio: 2:1
Your Tire Size: 22 inches

Speed at redline: 9000 / 3.7 / .96 / 2 * 22pi for circumference of the wheels / 63360 inches in a mile * 60 minutes in an hour = 82.9 mph.

The only margin of error in this is how accurate the rated redline is to your actual engine and your actual tire size compared to their listed size. The engine may not be able to push to 9000 rpms with a heavy kart and high ratio resulting in a lower top speed. Besides that, the linkage from the crankshaft to the axle is purely static and leaves no room for error in calculation, meaning your top speed could not physically be any higher than my calculated speed at redline.
