(this thread might pertain to us younger folks, since we are so influenced by music)

Alice in Chains can pretty much take care of all my moods, but Shinedown, Seether, Stone Sour, Slipknot, or Slayer when I'm wrenchin'.

well as of now, my love songs would be just about anything form the kings of leon, or mgmt, especially "electric feel" by mgmt.

My overall favorite song right now is "If you only Knew" by Shinedown. When I do work or work out anything upbeat is good lol. And Kaz, I 10000% agree with electric feel. lol

A great song indeed, but do you you listen to anything else? Or do you just run Foxey Lady in a loop 24/7?

I don't really have a favorite song, but these come close, along with a couple more I can't post on a forum like this(not family friendly).

Most of my musical tastes tend to run towards more obscure bands or deeper album cuts (chestnuts) that never got much radio play. I havent really kept up with a lot of newer bands material like I used to and I dont realy relate to diferent favorites for diferent situations but a few more well known tunes I like are:

I've always liked most anything from Alice in Chains. I'm really digging Your Decision off their new LP but though the studio wizardry used in recording Check my Brain wore thin prety quickly and prety much ruined that song for me after just a few listen-ings.

I like STP. Sour Girl has always been a long time favorite of mine.

I havent bought any of their CD's yet but I've been digging serveral Jet tunes I've heard on the radio.

I think David Bowie's Life on Mars is an amazing song.

As well as the Black Crows: Wiser Time.

And Neil Young's: Cortez the Killer.

And Hot Tuna's: The Water Song.

I've been digging serveral tunes from the newest Foo Fighters LP as well as a fairly unknown band called The Jealous Girl Friends lately. I like lots of tunes by Sheryl Crow, Todd Rundgren/Utopia, Liz Phair, Weezer, The Jayhawks, Byrds, Tom Petty, Wilco, Doors, Steve Earl, Pixies, Pretenders, older Stones, The Beatles.

Just to let you know mike... it's called Staind. But good God. I've got too many to name... Everything said so far, with Green Day, and 3oh!3 being the favorites... But my favorite genre is 80's. What can I say, I'm a Top Gun kinda guy

Im all about classic rock. As long a its not rap or screemo im happy. Im a big fan of early metallica, the doors are good, some ac/dc, ozzy, steve miller, bob dylan... To name a few. Music is like candy, you gotta throw away the rappers.

Being a Canadian and all I would have to expect you to be familiar with Rush.

Lulz

I would say the mid 60s to the early 80s were the best years for rock.
