Default 5" 2 piece steel cart wheels

I bought a $50 frame with 4 steel (2 part) wheels - all flat and rusted out. The 5/8" hubs were good. I'm trying to find replacement wheels but am confused by the center hub portion. The tires were 4.10 - 3.50 - 5. Question: can I buy just the steel rims, and will the hubs fit? Can I put 6" wheels on these hubs (for the rear tires only)?

Here's a couple of pics of the wheel and hub.

Follow up: is there a "hub" to convert larger golf cart tires/rim to fit a 5/8th axle? If so, where can I find the part? Thanks.

As long as you buy the right rims with the same bolt pattern measurements, yep.

Don't buy just any run-of-the-mill rims, buy some meant for go karts.

Try the usual:
BMI Karts
Go PowerSports
MFG Supply
Etc....

I love the small tires though, the 4.10x3.50-5", or the same in 4" or 6".

Those wheels look like Swiss cheese. Iím impressed. I second BMI. They have some good wheels.

Not a chance!

That is a Carter clover hub, with a bolt hole pattern that's unlike any other known pattern

Soo if you cannot find Carter rims, you cannot make use of the hub!
(and vice versa: if you cannot find that Carter hub, you cannot reuse those wheels)

reliable go karts was the last known to me source for carter spec'ed rims..
No longer available (for more than 4yrs now)
Sooo in case you cannot find them on ebay or Craigslist or alike,
you will be out of luck

ONLY solution:
buy new rims with matching hubs.. but I bet you can sell that hub for a small fortune on ebay

Good call, you old bookworm.

What is that bolt pattern in inches, por favor?
Sure is interesting that there's variation in "generic go kart parts".

Must be used in some other applications like lawn mowers or the like.

You were right, I had to buy 4 hubs, 4 wheels/tires, but it's all working out. I dumped the H/F wheels due to safety concerns (thanks for the advice). Waiting for the final parts to get up and running. :0)

As an after thought, I now have 4 "Carter clover hubs" if anyone is in need. Let me know.

People still buying HF wheels.

My modified hubs are working great but the original tires lasted 30 minutes.

Just out of hatred.
