Sadly this is my first gokart project and it seems to be a bad place to start but I have it so time to fix it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I guess My statement wasnt too specific... I meant pics of your setup on the kart....
Im not sure what your asking?? As for use of Pillow blocks, they can be useful. They are kinda finicky to setup, but you need the space to work with them, aswell as make sure your TC spacing is correct... Overall easier than trying to find/make another housing like above, if yours is worn out...

I have the same problem with the same kart. I've attempted pillow blocks but there is just way to much movement.

I immediately got the wrong idea from the first post, telling me not to get the wrong idea.
