Default Project Rocket Kart #3

I'm baaaack some of you may not remember me or even know who I am its been so long since I've been on here so let me introduce my self my name is Clarence and a few years ago I started a project I always wanted to do a go kart with a snowmobile engine, first it was just talk tee I finally found a frame my uncle had that was laying around and he wasn't using it was a manco go kart from a single seated I can't remember the name of the model.

Then I started looking for a snowmobile engine I decided on getting a rotax motor because I had heard good things about them I was looking for a rotax 440 found one bided on it and won but complications with the seller mad me end up not getting it I went searching again and I found a rotax 399 instead for a steal 65 bucks, the rotax 399 is a twin cylinder just like the 440 but its smaller and has 10 less HP then it but that didn't bother me 24 hp is enough for now I can always upgrade I thought, played for the rotax 399 and a few days later it ended up on my front door took it to the back and set it on the go kart and started messing with it it was pretty beat up and was missing a coil, got it to fire up on one cylinder a few times then one day like 3 days of having it ilk tried starting it one one cylinder again and it was acting weird and I saw metal shavings in the cylinder missing the coil it ended up eating a piston.

After a lengthy rebuild a year later I got the motor mount for the motor made up and did the first start on both cylinders and it ran amazing was so proud started up a few more times I didn't have the drive train made yet so I couldn't drive it yet then on day it started running weird and was misfiring and stopped running and didn't want to start didn't think much if it thought I flooded it so I put it away for the winter and around spring I started working on the drive train got it all done went to start it no spark ended up battling this for a while got a car and started getting ready for college and that's where the story ends, now I have taken off the flywheel to replace the points and condensers, and should be running soon by spring glad to be back https://youtu.be/ijhkarJNh3M

Did the engine come with the CVT?
Is it a snowmobile clutch system?
To be honest, I remember the signature!

Dude, a bit more punctuation & hitting the ENTER key occasionally makes it much easier to read as opposed to a wall of text

Probably had carburetor issues which is why it probably wasn't running well. Tuning dual carbs and synchronizing them is not an easy task.

I thought that but I starts noticing something that it would start losing spark after a while or trying to run it, I would try to tune the carb and it would run good at first when I leaned it out then I would rev it and it would run worst and it would have unburnt oil and gas coming out the exhaust the all the spark would go away again so I know for a fact that its the points and condensers

Here are a few pics I took off the fly wheel then pulled the stator out and removed the fan shroud, and then removed condensors

Obviously, you should have repeated 6th grade. And WE don't want a single post to read like a novel.

Is it a fight?
I love fights.

I'm on your side Rushking.

I don't remember before, but I don't think you've done anything wrong in this thread.
Sure, Blocks of text are annoying, but so people buying Lotto tickets. I don't jump on those people at the gas station. I just ask "How's retirement looking?"

I didn't take a attitude I was just being sarcastic, and I tried editing it and indenting but it would go back to the boxy text
