Yah the center hub that holds the bearings is pressed in place not welded. So any real amount of side force like turning, could snap it off.

I welded mine together, purchased good bearings...and after 15minutes of fun I replaced the tires with Walmart tractor tires. $15 each. No problems with them so far. But Iíve only put a couple good hours on them. Need to find a good place to ride.

Stupid kalifornia gokart laws...
