Well, ran scrap rod a little today, she starts getting scary at 35 with a little wobble, got it up to 47.3 and the engine sounded to be about 3/4 rev potential, but 47.3 is beyond fast enough in that particular kart and I am calling it top speed. I was bouncing all over the road, and steering was everywhere, if it didn't bounce so bad and yank all over the road I think the absolute fastest it would travel is maybe 55-57, but I'm not willing to push it, and I still plan on gearing lower so my clutch will last. I don't ride it a lot so it'll be ok for now.

yeah if you'd knew that there are
two sharing first,
two sharing second and another
two sharing third place currently....
I think it's fair to say that another few votes might help

So whoever hasn't already, sharpen your pencils and into the polling booth!

Hopefully more will jump in to vote. Though it will be entertaining to see multiple 2 way ties across the board. At least we do not need a recount!

Try going to the top of the first page, then check up to 3 boxes for the builds you want to vote for, then hit the "Vote Now" button. that should be it. I've already voted, so I can't see what you guys can see!
The poll is still open, so you guys should be able to vote just fine.

Sat892003 is a friend of mine, his phone died but he showed me on the first page it won't give him boxes to check, looks just like mine after I voted. It looks like he already voted but never did.

Well Myloram we do not like cheating
That's why you cannot create a userclone to vote!
(well you can try, but as you can see it has no use!)

Since it'll take months to be able to vote and just weeks to close the poll

'sid

PS same holds true for your 'friend' smerft...
I bet you two do not manage to post at the same time, can you

I bet we can, he is a friend that watched the build in person, asked why I built it, wanted to see what everyone else built. He got a log-in and couldn't find the voting poll. You really think I'd cheat for a t-shirt sid? Come on now.

He was sitting next to me at my kitchen table having coffee while our kids played together, I looked at his phone, showed him the site, talked him into creating an account, showed him the build-off and the reason I built the scrap rod, evidently portable devices that are internet capable have been forgotten? Don't some if not most of the folks here use a phone to post? What's is so hard to believe about two friends sitting together using their phones on the internet?

Sorry about getting worked up, but pretty low to accuse me of cheating, and that's exactly what sid is insinuating, and your comment didn't make me feel better about it. If it's that big of a deal I'll drop out of the contest, I'm not dishonest and it definitely rubs me wrong being accused of being so.

Didn't mean to come off accusing.....
Actually I'd like to see on what grounds 'sid is accusing. I don't blame ya for being ticked off.

it was from the guy whos shop I was building the kart at for my clones. He also sits next to me in class. I (Mylo/Eric) had no plans to vote again but he was unable too. So the question is more like is the voting limited to those of us that have been on here for a little bit of that did a build? End of the day I had fun building my kart and integrity violations is a non negotiable in my book.

well "evidently" others do (and did try in the past years)
not for a tshirt but for bragging rights alone.

That's the reason why new users cannot vote in the first place

And sure portable devices...
heard of such... but you know many have many (some phone, some tablet, some laptop the wife's and kid's phones tablets laptops...maybe a stationary computer or two...)
So if "different device" is all it takes I myself can push in at least nine votes.

Also sure enough you can have a friend and ask him to vote for you,
we just don't encourage that either.
and if you ask a friend to sign up (or he does so on his own)
just to do you the favour of voting
it'll still be of no use, since he will not be able to.

And with the two above creating their accounts within minutes (consecutive userIDs even)
trying to do the exact same thing,
yes I was supecting shenenigans where it might has been a mere coincidence.

I bet you do!
but no, I'm afraid that'll remain a trade secret

LIAR!!
Frankly... I called you out by name because I can!

I mean how dense must one be
using the Eric.<surname>@<mail>.thing
as one's mailadress and creating the clone with
<samesurname>family@<samemail>.thing
and still say it's a random guy sitting next to you in class.

Sure other users cannot see your mailadress,
but you are aware that "WE" can, right?

And just to be sure: that's not how I got you at all Eric, not at all!
or do you want me to call you Paco now?

'sid

[EDIT]
Really
trying ... failing.. keeping quiet and living with it..
no one gives a flying fart;
but trying.. failing... complaining about failing... getting caught and still denying...
is very poor form indeed.

So you still want to question others integrity, got it. I don't care one way or another if I happen to win, he legitimately wanted to vote on what he saw, I have no idea who he wanted to vote for. But I assure you sid, I'll never do another build-off, and I may find my way out of the group entirely. Believe whatever you want, opinions don't matter to me, I joined because I like the group, and it was a fun forum. I really wouldn't mind the mods removing my entry, not worth the drama and B.S. of having my integrity questioned. I'm done with all that.

I could have sworn I saw the rules posted for voting in these at one point in time, maybe not. It does make sense about who can vote and what not. Guess we'll know for this next build off. It was probably implied that new members cannot vote, but not everyone knows that (I didn't, but do now).

That's one reason why I gave up on Tapatalk. Another being their stupid policy for posting pictures now and needing VIP to copy pictures. So I just post from the website on my phone and dumped Tapatalk. Too many stupid changes over the last couple years really hit me the wrong way.
