Default Motor alignment

Hi I'm new and just got a go kart dirt cheap from a guy who had it just setting. I have a mini bike and was told I could put the motor from it on this go kart frame. The frame is a sodi but idk what model. I tried to look the frame up and it seems to be a belt that drives the axel. So if I buy a hub and sprocket can I still run this kart. Additionally, does anyone know the axel size 1.25 or 1inch? Also it seems counter weight are on these karts which I don't have. A picture is added to show the situation.

1" axles are the most common in the US
1.25" axles are less common but still well known to US karters of course.
especially on chassis like yours.

race chassis alike in europe run 30, 40 or 50mm axles instead..

since 1.25" are 31.75 mm and thus close to 30mm...
use proper calipers for measurement.
it might be a 30mm axle not a 1.25" one (~1/16" difference)

you need a clutch and an axle hub and sprocket.. then sure you can run that kart
(chain or belt as you prefere.. chain much cheaper, belt much quieter)
assuming you got the proper gear ratio going.

is the engine modded? if so what mods have been done? (to estimate the needed gear ratio)

Thank You, you are right on it's 30mm I got a dial caliper from home Depot...I was def off...I'm sending the stuff I ordered back this morning by fed ex. The motor has a bigger jet, new air filter and different header. I'll eventually get to the springs but for now that all. Next I'll need some a tire the right rear has a side wall cut. Additionally, I'll need another key I measured the others they say 7mm. So it'll be about a week or two before I actually get it running .and man tires are expensive. And go power sports is taking 15% restocking fee so I'm taking a lose even sending the stuff back smh
