Default Lil' Kid Manco Kart

Well guys, the vicious cycle has repeated itself. After approximately 1 hour of selling the orange manco at the swap meet:

I then caved in and bought a really REALLY small manco kart. It seems even smaller than the Fox/Critter II.
It was disassembled on the trailer at the swap meet and looked over since it was just in a heap of junk. The wheels spun straight, one straight spindle, front spring suspension, seems heavy duty. Got it for a good price ($20 thanks gopowersports!). Took it home and noticed that it looks like someone ran into something HARD with it. The front part of the brush guard as bent inward. I laid it out on the railing on a corner of my trailer and gave it a beating with my 5 lb hammer until it was straight. Put some 3/8"x 3 1/2" bolts in the holes and its back to 'normal'. Rear tires are shot, rims may need to be sanded/built up with primer/painted so they dont leak. I may be able to salvage the front tires, but the rears are too dry rotted to bother. I have a spare 5 hp subaru, 5 hp flathead (Bronda) electric start 11 hp gx340. After messing with what looks good, I am actually going to do something stupid, very very stupid. I don't recommend doing this, but I am an adult and think this stupid idea would be worth trying out.....

The GX340 just BARELY fits between the two rear sections of the roll bar. I was thinking I could rig up 3-4 pillow block bearings and a long section of Jack-shaft to fit to the one wheel in the rear. Very stupid i know but I will put on the 40 series torque converter and gear it for fun.

Not sure what to gear it to, but rears are and will be 15", the rear sprocket is a 80tooth 35 pitch.

Well guys thats it, again, I know this is stupid and i may end up bending the rear hub somehow or who knows what, but I just like to do stupid stuff just because I can.

Also, im thinking ill just paint the frame the same colors, black and red. Same with the seat, black and red piping.

I'm pretty sure gran already knows what kind of 415 Manco he has
personally I think it's 415-10 or 415-301 *shrugs*

So guys I have done a little more digging. I looked up the model of my gx340 that I got for $100 and it's sold on various sites as having the 10 amp charge coil. Without pulling the flywheel I'm somewhat confident that it does have this. It's got the solenoid/starter/output from the coil but is missing the key start assembly and regulator/rectifier.

I went ahead and purchased an 18" 108 watt led light bar for it as well.

Basic formula of amps=watts/volts. (Correct me if I have an incorrect application of the formula). 12x10=120watts

108/12= 9 amp draw from the led light bar. I assume this is enough for the light bar and to maintain charge on the battery. If not, then oh well I have a charger.

Not sure about the battery yet, but will want to get a small cheap one.
