Default OMB E-Tube and Main Jet's.

So I bought a filter kit from OMB, and it looks really nice, I'm happy with it and the price, so I went ahead and bought some more stuff from them.

Today I got my 140 E0Tube and 36&37 main jet kit. They say, "try both and see which one you like".

Which would be fabulous, but I have one tiny gripe. They didn't mark the jets! I cannot for the life of me tell the difference, visually, between the tow of them. I have no idea which one I installed. What if I do like it, I can't recommend it to anyone, because I have no idea which one it is lol

Anyway, it's a small thing, not really a big deal, but it is worth mentioning. In motorsports, all my Holley jet's have numbers stamped on them lol.

If anyone from OMB read's this, please, mark the jet's some kind of way!

Wow....just. wow....that's why I love this site....keep your eyes and ears open....and you can learn something every day.......

I agree...it's just plain dumbfounding to me to have unmarked jets....(unless they are stock)...

EDIT! !!!! Maybe they just take stock jets and re-drill them.....THAT MAKES SENSE!

Idk really, other than gauging them with a # drill bit set. Compare that against the jet chart.

the jets i got from omb had the size stamped on them.... I got the same ones. But that was like 1 1/2 yrs ago. They were stamped on the side that mates with the emulsion tube.

These ones aren't at all, I even check them under the big magnifying glass in my lab at work lol.

A little bit silly. ****, they could have dabbed some dykum on them, hit them with a sharpie, anything.

I'm a Quality Engineer, I have the equipment at work to measure it. That's basically what I did, using gage pins, then marked the 36 with red dykum and the 37 with blue.

If I were a 14 year old kid building a kart, I'd have no idea.

I couldn't really tell them apart either. I thought one maybe looked bigger, so that's the one I installed. I never measured them and am just assuming I am running the 37
