Default Flame Sucker Engine

I had never seen one of these. Interesting!

How it works:

Wow, that's really cool!

I don't really understand how it runs off of just a flame though
I want to build one!

it works by vaccuum which one the third link explains.

combustion does not occur without oxygen.
the flame is combustion of the candle wax oil fumes/gas + oxygen.

the flame sucks air in from the area surrounding it.
in normal circumstances you wouldnt exactly notice this, but when placed close to the enclosed area of the 'cylinder' the air is sucked out by the flame, pulling the piston closer.
then, the piston is pulled back by the flywheel, pulling oxygen in to fill the space.
which the flame then consumes creating another vaccuum

Probably not very efficient as the flame is burning continously whether the piston is doing anything or not. It's more of a novelty thing from what I see.
